Hello, we the organizing committee for the 2018 Dore Family Reunion, would like to invite all descendants of the Louis & Philomene Dore family to join us at Morin Lake Regional Park Reunion Grounds on Aug. 3, 4, 5 & 6, 2018. It will have been almost 15 years since the last reunion hosted in Saskatchewan and we hope to make it an event that, for those attending, will be a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The location of the reunion is only a few miles from the original Dore homestead where Grandpa & Grandma Dore raised their 14 children. Since then the family has grown and spread out not only in Canada and the U.S. but around the world. We hope this invitation finds every one of them so that they will consider attending and make this a special event.
To register for the reunion go to the Dore Reunion website at dorereunion.ca payment can also be made by e-mail transfer at dorereunion18@gmail.com or register by mail to PO Box 19 Victoire SK. S0J 2X0 c/o Irene Cyr. Please include all the names of those attending and ages of the children if any.
I would request that you could pass on this info to anyone that does not have e-mail as we are not doing any mail outs. Also we are a little short on e-mails from the Alberta Dore’s so please forward this letter or send them to me so I can add them to my list. Due to a delay in getting Irene installed as our new treasurer, e-mail transfers will only start, hopefully by March 5th.
